The Eco Committee is an elected group of children who meet regularly to discuss matters ecological which they feel would benefit the school. Mrs Phillips runs the committee meetings and helps to guide the children to consider energy saving measures and improvements that might be made to the school, especially the outdoor environment.
For Spring 1st half term our focus is on looking at waste and thinking about how we can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The children decided to invest in some special recycling bins to encourage each class to recycle. They also took one to the school office and Head’s office to make sure paper was being recycled.
